Run Report out of an Entity

Hello NG,
I want to run my generated report like the Account Overview out of an
Account. The Report shows Informations about an Account. But if I run this
Report out of an Account the Report gives me Informations to all Accounts an
not just from the selected. What should I do that just the Informations of
the Selected Account were show.

Actually I am also trying to investigate something similar where I would
like to create reports based on business objects not going to database.
Any info or leads will help. Hopefully somebody in MS will look at this post
and reply.

You want to display account info, you have a list of accounts and when you
select one of the account, you need to get all the account info. Is this what
you want ?
I am bit confused here; from your post. (But if I run this
Report out of an Account the Report gives me Informations to all Accounts an
not just from the selected.)
You can let me know exactly what I have understood and your thoughts are
same, because this solutions is pretty simple, to do. !!

Thank you for your answer. I want to know how I can run a report out of the
CRM 3.0. It is possible when uploading the report in CRM to link this with
Entitys and where it will be shown. When I select that the Report will be
shown at the List of the linked Entity I can run that out of the Entity
Reports List. What I want is that the Account ID of the selected Account get
transfered to the Report so that just the Informations of the selected
Account were shown at the Report. The same thing like the Account Overview
Report.
